Moliner familly give us a bad new, Esquirol  passed away at dawn. Maybe he meeted his parents in The Rainbow Bridge. Big hug, Aurora.

Albert visited Isabel and Eduard, owners of Manaire de Can Cabot "Merak". He spent a good time pampered by Merak, who is so affectionate as his mother was. Thanks family for the care and love you give to Merak.

Week end in Amurrio (Álava) with Yimo de la Tajadera del Tío Roy. Saturday was the celebration of VIIth. Topaketa, regional breed show organized by the Basque Country and Navarra Delegations of C.M.P.E. We arrived to the campaign of El Refor at noon, just on time for the wellcome lunch. Excellent festive atmosphere and cloudy weather, not passing 20º, ideal for dogs. On the morning Yimo hited his leg end he limped during his presentation, so the judge was not able to see his movement and qualified him as Very Good. After the competition a time for rest and then we went to dinner with the colleagues.
On Sunday, time for the National Dog Show. Yimo was already recovered and didn't limped. He was awarded With C.A.C. and Best Dog of the breed, wining the male presented on champions class. Yimo disputted with the Best Bitch for the Best of Breed. She won and Yimo was satisfied being the Best of Opposite Sex.
 

Vanil de Can Cabot "Laika" is now one year old and Pilar has sent us a few pics of diferent times of the growing.

Organized by the Unió Cinòfila de Catalunya Vic hold his 15th. National Dog Show. Yimo de la Tajadera del Tío Roy was Best Of Breed. Yimo got the podium awarded as Third B.I.S. of Spanish Breeds, receiving the trophy Adolf Cabané. It's been an emotive moment, Adolf was a good person and he left us so soon. He was the first judge to put Yimo in a podium, and since then Yimo has got six in one year.

Aragon delegation of C.M.P.E. has organized the "XXX Monográfica del Mastín del Pirineo". In the heart of the Aragon Pyrenees, in Sallent de Gállego, Pyrenea Mastiff lovers from around Spain and also Finland, Swede and France have come to see dogs and have fun meeting friends. The hotel, the pavilion and the festive atmosphere were excellent. Yimo was classify Excellent 3rd. on open class.

The Mena family has sent us photos of Rumba de Can Cabot. Rumba is a two years old spoilt "girl".

Sunday of Dog Show in Girona. We have presented Yimo de la Tajadera del Tío Roy and Vito Corleone de Can Cabot, having very good results. Vito has been Best Puppy and Yimo earned C.A.C., C.A.C.I.B. and Best of Breed. In the finals, Yimo got the podium awarded as Best in Show of Spanish Breeds (B.I.S. RR.EE.)

Monday morning our home was snow-covered, and it keeped snowing all day long. It's not usual at all a snow storm in our area, and least in late winter. Our way was blocked and for three days there was not electricity supply The positive side, we had a great time looking our dogs enjoying the snow.

This year we have been in the National Dog Show at Valls with two pyreneans mastiffs. Vito Corleone de Can Cabot, seven months old, was competing in puppy class, and with three puppies in the ring, he's been the Best Puppy.  Yimo de la Tajadera del Tío Roy won the C.A.C. in open class, and when competing with the Best Female he got the Best of Breed.

For another year we have been in the national and international Dog Shows of Zaragoza. This year we have presented Yimo de la Tajadera del Tío Roy, who has been clased Excellent 2nd at the national and Excellent 4 at the international. The stand of the Aragon regional delegation of C.M.P.E. was the meeting point for "mostineros". A fun weekend sharing good times with other Pyrenean Mastiff lovers.

We have received some new photos of Valentina de Can Cabot "Val". Val has fun playing in the snow after the snowstorm. Sylvie tell us that Chaudenay (France) has reached temperatures of -24º.

Rosa has sent us some photos of Quisso de Can Cabot "Nano". In her e-mail she says Nano is still very playful and a little naughty

In the program Caçadors de bolets (Mushroom gatherers), issued today in regional television TV3, the protagonists have been Laia and Oriol, who own Thalassa de Cabot Can "Ariet". Oriol and Laia showed the mushrooms that can be harvested in the area of Granera, and accompanied them on their walk Ariet and Tuc, the other dog of the familly. We can see in the video that Ariet and Tuc good racing in the mountains, while their owners spend the morning looking for mushrooms.

PHOTOS  MINI-DON, QUICOU AND VITO CORLEONE DE CAN CABOT

We have spent the day at Noemi's house, she's the owner of three mastiffs born home: Mini-Don de Can Cabott "Murri", Quicou de Can Cabot "Quicou" and Vito Corleone de Can Cabot "Vito". These are some photos took by Noemi.

Yimo de la Tajadera del Tío Roy was invited to SUPERBIS of Murcia, a final compiting all dogs that have been rated as B.I.S. and B.I.S. of Spanish Breeds in the exhibitions held during the year in Spain and Portugal. We came to this SUPERBIS and also participated in the National Dog Show on Saturday and at the International Dog Show on Sunday. At the National Dog Show Rafael Escar, breed specialist judge, gve the R.C.A.C. to Yimo. At the International Dog Show also under the trial of a specialist judge, Antonio Mingot, Yimo was awarded with the C.A.C.

This weekend was held in Banyoles (Girona) the "Fira de Sant Martirià" and is estimated to have been visited by about thirty-four thousand people. Among the various activities taking place is a show of native breeds (horses, donkeys, sheeps, cows, chickens, dogs, etc.) Every year we go with our mastiffs, contributing to the knowledge and diffusion of the breed. This year, besides the area where arimals are shown, the organization set up a tent where every breed was represented o a big poster. The dog shown on the Pyrenean Mastiff's poster is Jazz de Can Cabot, from our kennel and owned by Sylvie Renaud. More information about this fair in www.firasantmariria.cat.

Jean Paul and Vivianne have sent us some photos of Victoria de Can Cabot "Vicky". They tell us that Vicky is very sociable with both people and dogs and, as many puppies, she loves to nibble the flowers and shrubs.

Today we have received some photos of Otelo de Can Cabot. Otelo enjoys walking in the forest with Jesús, and his desire to explore led him to get into lakes, go down ravines... and when he gets home some cuddles before resting.

Sylvie has sent us some photos of Valentina de Can Cabot ´"Val". Sylvie breeds dogs in France for over twenty years ago in his kennel Vanil des Artses  The dogs have three hectares of land and the can go to the interior of the house whenever they wish.

The regional breed show "II Concurso Monográfico del Mastín del Pirineo" took place in Sariñena (Huesca). We attendednit with Unión del Paso del Oso "Cabut", who participated in the open class getting the rating of Excellent 2nd.

Puppies of Yimo de la Tajadera del Tío Roy and Nimfa de Can Cabot are born. The labor started at one o'clock in the morning and ended at eleven o'clock in the morning. Three males and six females whose evolution can be followed in the page litters

Yimo de la Tajadera del Tío Roy has won the Best of Breed in the regional dog show of Sant Pere de Vilamajor, organized by the Unió Cinòfila de Catalunya.

We have presented Yimo de la Tajadera del Tío Roy in the National Dog Show of Vic. He earned the C.A.C. and Best of Breed. In the finals he got the podium in two occasions, awarded as Second of Group II and  Best of Spanish Breeds.

This week end we went to Amurrio (Vitoria) to participate with Yimo de la Tajadera del Tío Roy in the VI Topaketa, a regional breed show where we like to spend time with mastiffs and mastiff's lovers. Yimo was compiting in open class, been clased Excellent 2nd.
On Sunday Amurrio also hold the National Dog Show of Alava, where Yimo has repeated the Excellent 2nd.

The ultrasound made today to Nimfa has confirmed that she's pregnant. We expect the birth of the puppies by June 20th..

In the Regional Dog Show of Igualada Yimo de la Tajadera del Tío Roy has been Best of Breed. In the finals he's been awarded as Third of Group 2.

This afternoon Yimo de la Tajadera del Tío Roy has mated Nimfa de Can Cabot. In one month we will confirm by ultrasound if she's pregnant.

In this mont's issue of the specialized magazine Todo Perros our photo of Yimo de la Tajadera del Tío Roy appears both on the cover and the article about the breed.

In the morning Quica de Can Cabot has been in labor. Three feales and on male whose evolution we will show in the page of  litters

We have confirmed by ultrasound that Quica de Can Cabot is pregnant. We expect the birth on begenning of April.

Today Yimo de la Tajadera del Tío Roy has joined the family, a male almost two years old and he's yet very friend of  our Spanish Water Dog Piri (Simplemente Morales de los Banzos). We highlight his structure head, bone and character. We look forward to enjoy him for many years.

Canine weekend in Zaragoza. We have presented the two days Unión del Paso del Oso "Cabut". On Saturday, at the National Dog Show Cabut was clased Excellent 2nd on open class. On Sunday, at the International Dog Show he won the C.A.C. and C.A.C.I.B.

Today is been done the first matin of Quica de Can Cabot with Astún de la Tajadera del Tío Roy, that will be repeatd next February 3th. In about 30 days an ultrasound will be done to confirm if Quica is pregnant.

We participated in the National Dog Show of Valls with Unión del Paso del Oso "Cabut" nd Teresa de Can Cabot "Tere".

Tere has been Best Puppy of Bredd and Cabut has been Best of Breed. In the finnals Tere got the podium as R.B.I.S. Puppies.

Last night it started snowing, which is unusual here, so we enjoyed looken the dogs playing. This morning in their area no snow remained, the did'nt stopped al night...
